Matt Schiffman is the CEO of J-Curve Marketing, where he leverages four decades of experience to help clients across a range of professional services, including optimizing client engagement models, improving their storytelling, enhancing client retention strategies, and activating brands.
As a seasoned professional in the financial services sector, Matt has navigated senior positions across sales, marketing, and product development, contributing to the success of Fortune 500 firms such as PaineWebber (now UBS), Manulife, Prudential, and Legg Mason (now Franklin Templeton).
Post Legg Mason, he co-founded Atom Analytics, LLC (now Broadridge’s Distribution Insight) to help asset managers leverage data to focus their distribution efforts better and improve results. In five years, this venture’s revenue became a multi-million dollar contributor to Broadridge’s business unit results.
In his spare time, Matt is a writer about to publish his first book, Into the Sun, a historical fiction novel set in WW2.
President
Debbie Brown is the President of J-Curve Marketing and brings over 30 years of experience building FinTech brands globally. She has helped technology firms expand into new markets, grow “start-ups” within their portfolios, and take private equity-backed firms through to successful exit. Most recently, Debbie was head of Marketing for AWS, helping to drive the adoption of cloud technology among financial services firms.
Prior to joining Amazon, Debbie was CMO of Broadridge Financial Solutions Asset Management arm, where she successfully integrated eight international acquisitions into the organization, drove change management and cultural integration across the firm, championed ESG, and introduced an international work exchange program.
Debbie is an active member of the global asset management community. She served as Chair of the SPARK Retirement Association Marketing Committee and is also a member of the Women in Pensions Association.
A Santa Barbara resident and passionate health and wellness advocate, Debbie enjoys hiking in the Santa Ynez Mountains and walking the paths of the central coast with her husband.
